Lago Ranco

In 2006, following their pioneering spirit, the Silva family planted their first vineyards in Futrono, 904 km South of Santiago, between two mountains of the Andes, on a hillside that sloped towards Lake Ranco. This innovative decision brought Casa Silva to be the first Chilean winery to produce wines from their own vineyards with the Designation of Origin “Austral”, in such a remote Southern Region.
